Peugeot’s new 5008 Compact MPV has been named Car of the Year – and Best MPV – in the Diesel Car Magazine awards 2010.
It is yet another accolade for the vehicle, capable of seating up to seven, which has already won the title of What Car?’s Best MPV.
The 5008 wasn’t the only Peugeot to pick up a prestigious Diesel Car award. The 3008 was named Best Crossover while the soon-to-launch RCZ won Sports Car of the Year – both new categories in the annual awards.
More than 275 new cars had been put through their paces by Diesel Car’s expert testers.
Ian Robertson, Editor of Diesel Car magazine said: “I am really pleased to announce Peugeot taking the top spot with the spectacular 5008".
