Director and Dealer Principal, PEUGEOT Nuneaton, PEUGEOT, SEAT and CUPRA, Stourbridge
Currently, I’m the Dealer Principal for PEUGEOT in Nuneaton.
22 years – I‘ve worked for Arbury since the very first day the Group was started. My first day with Arbury was 1st April 2000 (April Fool’s Day)! I got a lift to Arbury Nuneaton that morning and haven’t looked back since.
My journey with Arbury over the last 22 years has gone full circle. I started at PEUGEOT in Nuneaton on the first day as a Sales Manager, with a new team, new site and new company. In those first two years, I learned an unbelievable amount, which has been invaluable for my career and life since (don’t mention green 206s).
From Nuneaton, I moved to our second site – PEUGEOT in Lichfield – initially as Sales Manager, and I was then promoted to Dealer Principal. After a couple of years, the Group set up Arbury Citroën in Nuneaton, and I was asked to move there. This was a great new challenge with the Group’s newest brand, and I was soon asked to become a Director.
From Citroën, I moved to Walsall to look after PEUGEOT, Fiat and Citroën aftersales, and then a few years later, it was on to Leamington to oversee PEUGEOT, Nissan and Škoda. Finally, four years ago, I returned to my roots as Dealer Principal at both of our Nuneaton sites.
As you can see, the circle has been completed for now! Along the way, I’ve had some fantastic experiences, met some great people (both employees and customers), and had so many highs. I wouldn’t have changed my path for anything.
The staff, the customers, the challenges, and the feeling of being part of a successful work family where everyone pulls together to achieve our collective goals. There’s never a boring day.
Several Gold Lion awards from PEUGEOT and Citroën for customer satisfaction.
Coming to work is my passion – I’m one of those lucky people who enjoys what they do. When I wake up in the morning, I genuinely look forward to going to work.
Personally, my passion is motorbikes and motorbike racing – whether MotoGP or the Isle of Man TT, which I visit every other year. I also own a couple of bikes myself.
Fulfilling.
